Girls in Boy Scouts

On February 1, 2019, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) began to welcome girls in Boy Scouts, which was renamed Scouts BSA. Girls can join all-girl troops, while boys can join all-boy troops. Co-ed troops are not allowed. The organization's name remains Boy Scouts of America.

The BSA published two versions of its 14th edition of the Scout Handbook in 2019, one for girls and one for boys. There are also new uniforms for girls.
